Pittsburgh-Fayette Express, Inc. (PFX) is a family owned and operated trucking company domiciled in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
This non-union carrier began operations in 1978 and services points in Western and Central Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio, and portions of West Virginia.
The company, with over 60 pieces of power equipment, operates as a niche carrier, specializing in lift-gate and white-glove service. In addition, they act as an interline and cartage agent with long-haul carriers. The company become ISO 9002 certified and is currently ISO compliant.
PFX has common ownership with their affiliated company, West Penn Warehousing, Inc.--both companies are situated on 8 acres of family property. West Penn, offering over 100,000 square feet of warehouse space, makes both firms ideal for supplying all distribution needs.
